Energy for sustainable development in Mozambique

The main goal of the research was to analyze how the development of the energy sector in Mozambique could promote a sustainable development in low-income areas, reduce the poverty level and improve the livelihood of the poorest sector of the population.
Therefore, a detailed analysis of the country’s current situation was carried out from a socio-economic and energy point of view. The findings have contributed to propose some interventions aimed at improving living condition of the low-income population through public-private partnership in rural and urban areas.
