Socio-economic studies

The study focused on the socio-economic conditions of the population in Basra Governorate and included the development of several documents.
In the first place a quantitative survey was undertaken to measure existing socio-economic conditions to serve as a baseline against which to develop further analysis. On the basis of the baseline results, a Social and Population Impact Assessment and a Community Investment Strategy were elaborated. The Community Investment Strategy allowed for the identification of possible areas of intervention in Basra Governorate.
